Firefighters put their lives on the line everyday to protect our communities from hazardous fires and emergencies. They are constantly exposed to harmful particles from wildfire smoke, and other toxic chemicals, often sacrificing their own health to keep us safe.
At AirDoctor, we deeply appreciate their dedication and sacrifice. That’s why, on July 10th, we donated air purifiers to the Sherman Oaks fire station. These units will help improve the air quality inside the station, removing harmful pollutants and providing firefighters with cleaner, healthier air when they’re in the station.
“Being a resident of Los Angeles I am always so touched by firefighters, their bravery, and how much they risk to protect us. AirDoctor really wanted to do something that makes a direct difference to their health and well-being. It’s a small way to give back to those who give so much every day.”
— Helen Christoni, Senior Vice President at AirDoctor
Clean air is essential for recovery and long-term health, especially for those who face hazardous conditions as part of their daily job. We’re proud to support the brave firefighters at Fire station No. 88 in Sherman Oaks, and stand with all firefighters who put their health and well-being on the line to ensure our safety.
