In January, Los Angeles experienced the deadliest and most damaging wildfires in its history. At least 30 people lost their lives, over 18,000 homes and structures were destroyed, and more than 200,000 Angelenos were displaced. As an LA-based company, our hearts go out to the city we call home and all the families, educators, and children affected. At AirDoctor, we believe that clean air is a basic right–especially for children with developing lungs. That’s why we donated 25 of our air purifiers to support Altadena Arts Magnet, an elementary school forced to close and relocate due to the disastrous Eaton Fire. These units will be used in classrooms at their temporary campus to protect students and staff from harmful airborne particles, ensuring a cleaner, healthier learning environment while the community works toward recovery. Studies show that cleaner classroom air can significantly boost student performance and help them miss fewer school days. By removing allergens, mold, and fine particulate matter, air purifiers help create a healthier learning environment, leading to improved concentration and less illness.
We’re proud to stand with Altadena and remain committed to providing clean air to as many people as possible, especially within our community.
