AirDoctor and our affiliated entities (collectively, “Company”, “us”, or “we”) care about your privacy. As such we are providing this Privacy Policy (“Policy”) to help you understand what data we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and your rights with respect to this data. This Policy applies when you use our services through our Websites (“Websites”) linked to this Policy, as well as our mobile sites, mobile applications, or pages operated by us on social networking sites and other platforms (collectively, the “Services”).

By visiting the Website or using our Services, you consent to the collection, use, maintenance, and disclosure of information as described in this Policy. If you do not agree with this Policy, please do not visit our Website or use the Services.

We also collect, use, and share Aggregated Data for any purpose. Examples include aggregated statistical or demographic data or data provided in hashed, non-human readable form. III. How We Disclose Collected Information

We disclose personal information as necessary to operate our business, such as in connection with providing our Services to you. In general, we may share your personal data with the parties listed below:

  • Company affiliates and subsidiaries, to provide you with the Services.
  • Unaffiliated third-party service providers, consultants, and other vendors that perform functions or services on our behalf and under our instructions to make the Website and our Services available to you.

  • In connection with any company transaction, such as a merger, sale of assets or shares, reorganization, financing, change of control, or acquisition of all or a portion of our business by another company or third party or in the event of bankruptcy, dissolution, divestiture, or any related or similar proceedings.
  • With your consent or at your direction.

IV. Your Choices and Rights

1.  Target Advertising

We use your personal information to tailor our marketing and advertising efforts. To do this, we provide or make your information available to third party advertising networks (such as Google Ads) and social media companies (such as Facebook).

We use online identifiers such as email, cookie addresses, and device identifiers to help us provide targeted advertising to you and others like you. We may also use aggregate information to help advertisers reach the kind of audience they want to target. We may make use of the personal information we have collected from you to enable us to display advertisements to target audiences.

V. Miscellaneous

1. Age Restrictions. This Site is not designed for children. We restrict the use of our Services to individuals 18 years old and above. If you become aware that personal data about a person under 18 has been provided to us, please immediately contact us.
2. Links. While you are using our Services, you may be linked or directed to other third-party sites outside that are beyond our control. Each of these third-party sites may have a privacy policy different from ours. Please review the privacy policies of these sites. We are not responsible for any actions or policies of such third parties.
3. Changes to this Policy. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to change, modify, add, or remove any portion of this Policy, in whole or in part, at any time without prior notice. When we materially revise this Policy, we will give you notice of the revised Policy by posting the revised Policy on this site and by revising the “Last Updated” date at the top of this Policy. Please check this page periodically for changes. Your continued use of the Services after any changes or revisions to this Policy shall indicate your agreement with the terms of such revised Policy.
4. Security. The security of your personal information is important to us. When you provide sensitive information (such as a credit card number), we encrypt that information using secure socket layer technology (SSL). We follow generally accepted industry standards to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. However, no method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is 100% secure. Therefore, while we strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your personal information, we cannot guarantee the absolute security of such information. 5. Internal Users: Collection, Storage, Processing and Transfer of Information. We operate the Services primarily from the United States, which is where your information will likely be collected, stored, and processed. The following information is provided to California residents to comply with the California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (the “CCPA”) and other California privacy laws and forms a part of this Policy. Any terms defined in the CCPA have the same meaning when used in this Policy.

Rights Specific to California Residents

Under the CCPA, a California resident has the following rights: (1) to request additional information about our data collection, use, disclosure, and sales practices in connection with your personal data; (2) to request the specific personal data collected about you during the previous 12 months; (3) to request the deletion of the personal data we have about you; (4) to request a restriction on certain processing of personal data; and (5) to request correction of inaccurate information. You may not be discriminated against for exercising your California privacy rights. You may submit a request to exercise your rights under the CCPA through one of two means:

Upon receiving your request, we will confirm receipt of your request by email or if you are registered in our customer portal, we may do so by a message directed to you in the portal. To help protect your privacy and maintain security, we may take steps to verify your identity before granting you access to the information. In some instances, such as a request to delete personal data, we may first separately confirm that you would like for us to in fact delete your personal data before acting on your request.

We aim to respond to your request as soon as reasonably practicable and consistent with any applicable laws. If we require more time, we will inform you of the reason and extension period in writing. We will deliver our written response by mail or electronically, at your option. You may authorize another individual or a business registered with the California Secretary of State, called an authorized agent, to make requests on your behalf through these means.  We may have a reason under the law why we do not have to comply with your request, or why we may comply with it in a more limited way than you anticipated. If we do, we will explain that to you in our response.

California residents are also entitled to contact us to request information about whether we have disclosed personal data to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes. Under the California “Shine the Light” law, California residents may opt-out of our disclosure of personal data to third parties for their direct marketing purposes. You may choose to opt-out of the sharing of your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes. To make such a request you should send (a) an email to [email protected] with the subject heading “California Privacy Rights,” or (b) a letter to us at the address listed in the “How to Contact Us.” In your request, please attest to the fact that you are a California resident and provide a current California address for our response.
